This book had so much gorgeous poetry that I almost feel bad rating it because of how personal it was. I loved how it explored the different stages in different relationships and the feelings of love, loss, healing and so many more. I especially adored the last part that is entitled "you" I found it so empowering and it's like the voice women need right now. It's so contemporary but at the same time it feels timeless. Like anyone could relate.
There are definitely some better poems than others and in general better parts than others but that is such a subjective look because I was able to relate with some things better than with other. I really enjoyed how it told a complete story but you can also take a poem out of context and it would be just as good. Especially because it's a debut author, I think she did a brilliant job!
