Curiosity must’ve gotten 
the best of me.

I like some of Halsey’s music.
Badlands,
Manic,
The Great Impersonator.
So I wanted to read between the lines.

I should’ve known,
Should’ve heeded the warning.
Saw the Goodreads reviews
Even years back.

Some poems have potential,
Just need a little cleaning up,
A little polish to make them
truly shine.
A lot seemed to come from
random phone typing sessions,
Sentences cut up into
Fragments,
“Verses”
By
The
Press
Of
The
Enter
Key.

So here’s my honest review.
(I’ll still be listening to her music, though.)
