did not know there was gonna be lgbtq rep in this but what a great surprise!!! i love maya she was definitely my fav, something abt her character was just so warm and sunshiney i love people like that. even if they’re fictional 😭 the premise for this book is really different, i’ll be honest i did not understand a lot of the talk about time because it’s all very scientific but also philosophical (which is briefly touched on and i think is a really interesting take). it’s a very unique type of magic/fantasy,, if it could be called that? i’m not sure because it’s technically not, maybe it’s more sci-fi? idk but definitely fascinating. sora and koki’s dynamic was a bit strange because it felt like they were friends who were only still friends because they had been friends for so long (iykyk) but that might just be the writing style. there was a lot of repetitive stuff like about the different zones and to be honest there isn’t that much of a plot but it was still enjoyable enough and the bits about sora’s mum did make me a little sad. also big shoutout to the cover of this book bc it’s so beautiful
