The Woman in Me
by Britney Spears
dark
emotional
hopeful
reflective
sad
fast-paced
“It’s been a while since I felt truly present in my own life, in my own power, in my womanhood. But I’m here now.”
disrespectfully,
f*ck
Jamie and Lynne Spears
Jamie Lynn Spears
Justin Timberlake
Kevin Federline
Larry Rudolph
Lou M Taylor and TriStar Management
every doctor and therapist that “treated” Britney
Free Britney, forever and always. 💖
I really wish Britney had gone into more detail about certain experiences and areas of her life. Her "Circus" album (2008) is one that so clearly sticks out in my brain because that's when I was really introduced to her and would've loved to hear more about the creative process behind that album.
I also would've liked to hear more about the ending of her conservatorship and the process behind that. It was written as though it was pretty straightforward (including much of the pushback from her father and others), but based on some of the documentaries and other news articles I've read about it, it was anything but.
