laaurenculpan 's review for:
Love, Rosie
by Cecelia Ahern
At first I wasn’t sure I was going to like this book, purely because of the way it was written. I found myself getting lost between the letters/emails/ages of characters and was worried i would lose focus throughout the entire book.
But then it got better. I must say, I disagree with some of the reviews, saying the pacing was quite slow. Whilst I’d have preferred (spoiler alert) Alex and Rosie to get together sooner; life doesn’t always pan out that way. And I feel as though the pacing of this book matched that.
I enjoyed all of the characters (particularly Ruby!) and despised all of the ones I was meant to hate (whatshisname). I also cried when Rosie’s parents died because I knew it was coming but also didn’t want it to.
I have yet to watch the movie but I’m very excited too! And it’s not because it has Sam Claflin and Lily Collins in... okay it definitely is!
