An enjoyable collection of stories based on a concept that can't miss -- Sherlock Holmes meets Lovecraft's Cthulu mythos. Still, some of the stories are better than others; there's some real gems, but others never overcome the forumulaic elements in their source material and end up being more like parodies or mere pastiches. Still, check it out when it comes out in paperback, or get it from the library -- it's a blast!
