Waypoints: My Scottish Journey
by Sam Heughan
reflective
slow-paced
Having loved Outlander and Jamie Frasier, I set out reading this expecting to love Sam's journey along the West Highland Way. While there were moments that I really got sucked into, there were many others where it felt like the book haphazardly jumped between the current moment and past reflections (perhaps this is easier to discern in the written text rather than narration?). Even still, was nice to join the trail alongside Sam for a bit.
