I think this was a great YA debut. The best parts of Anita Kelly's writing was showcased so well in this YA setting. The relationship development felt real and worked well. I appreciate the anxiety representation, especially in a young person seeing them be able to work through such horrible times that I know are life-changing. The third act breakup felt a bit forced but I liked how the story was wrapped up.
