I would give it a 3.5 if I could, but only because its a continuation of Little Women which is infinitely more times better than this one. I feel as though poor little Beth's end was inevitable but could've gone more into depth and Megs ending was aughhhh her husband is ughh her kids are ehh kinda cute and what happened to her love for acting and singing huhh?? As for Amy, I didn't hate her ending but I hated how she gave up on all her ambitions because... she has talent but no genius?? WHICH ISN'T EVEN TRUE UUGHHHH..... Now, moving on to Jo,,, she doesn't deserve an ending like this!!!! Her husband is a rotting old man with a last name I don't even know how to pronounce (is it bear or like bhear or like idkkk). He INSULTS HER WORK TO HER FACE, (If her writing was in-fact going against her morals, he should've just said that instead of insinuating to her to stop writing.) and is altogether BORING ASF. The trend in this book seems to be that all the women have to give up all their dreams because they aren't "worldly" (WHATEVER TF THAT MEANS?) and instead should strive to be feminine and and womanly and work for their husbands and family and nothing else (this book was so obviously written in the 1800s 'rolling eyes emoji'). I wish I never read this book and only had read the first and came up with my own ending!!
