I Hate You by Ilsa Madden-Mills

5.0

Now I'll be the first to admit that I am no spring chicken, I am a vintage gal with a mind of a much younger gal.  And I will also admit that YA/NA trope usually isn't my go to for my swooning needs.

But when Ms. Madden-Mills writes a story, I am the first one to push the "One Click" button or grab it from my bookstore.  Her stories are amazing no matter what your age may be.

This is Blaze and Charisma's story, a true tale of the saying "A Thin Line Between Love and Hate" Two very powerful emotions.

I could empathize with Charisma's self-esteem issues, we all have them at one point in our lives.  Charisma's past has unfortunately molded her future in a way that built walls around her so thick that nobody could see what a fantastic heart beat inside her.

Blaze, oh this hero.  I could totally relate to him.  I have a child with ADD and to see this fella's plight really pulled at my heartstrings.  He too has a past that has molded his future and even with his handsomeness and popularity at college, he has his own insecurities and vulnerability that makes you want to squeeze him tight.

Seeing past characters make appearances was lovely and it was like having a mini reunion and catching up with what everyone was doing.  It just brought more to the story!

Ms. Madden-Mills has yet to write a story that I haven't devoured and loved immensely!  I Hate You is no exception! Well done!
