Little Bird by Ria Wilde

This was almost a DNF for me. The amount of typos, grammatical errors, punctuation issues, misused words... it grated on me and really impacted the experience of the book. In the first page alone, the author uses an apostrophe to pluralize names three separate times!! Unreal. It is very evident that this author didn't use an editor - or if she did, she should be getting her money back. I would have rated it much higher.

But I kept reading, thinking that if the story was worth it, I could look past the errors. No. I had the "ending" guessed very early on, so from then on out, it was just waiting for the book to finish. And I put ending in quotation marks because there wasn't one. This is my bad - I didn't realize the book was a duet when I started reading it. If I had known the book would end halfway through the plot, I wouldn't have bothered finishing it.
