4.5

I can already see why people online say Gojo is too powerful and it's only volume 2 lol honestly it's making me really nervous for how high the stakes are going to have to be moving forward.

I really like the art style and panel composition in this volume, the pages are so dynamic! The explanations for how cursed energy/cursed techniques work was pretty confusing - though that could just be reading this so late at night.

So many new little plot elements dropped in this volume - there's so much mystery going! The way all the characters have been used to far really makes this feel like a very strong ensemble piece. This volume does a fantastic job of introducing character moments/beats that give hints at bigger plot lines for them in the future and it makes the overall story more engaging.
Yuji has to learn how to harness cursed energy, Sukuna clearly has something shady going on that involves Megumi, there's a whole world domination plot brewing that's pulling in Gojo - there's so much happening!!
All of the character interactions feel purposeful and compelling, it's a great example of plot and character development being really well balanced.
