Olivia "Livvy" Flynn is a NY best selling author at the young age of 17 and was just invited to attend an A-list event when she crashes her car, dislocating her shoulder. The last thing she sees before passing out is a young girl playing the flute. She wakes in the basement of Peg, the mother of the little girl playing the flute and believes they saved her, she quickly discovers that they have other intentions for her.
I really, really hated Livvy (which I know was the author's intent - so good for you girl, you succeeded) she was so snobby and full of herself half the time I was glad she got kidnapped. Even after learning more about her back story, I was unable to feel any sympathy for Livvy. I found the book to be EXTREMELY predictable and was able to call every single plot twist there was. The pacing was very quick and it was very easy to read, but just too easy to call for my liking.
