I am enjoying the Gossip Girl books a lot, but they are riddled with stupid stereotypes about Europe.
In this book it was Nates pot dealer moving back to Amsterdam. Seriously?
In one of the other books (Gossip Girl The Carlyles Book 1) I came across:
- Someone moving to Amsterdam to work at a tulip farm, and sending wooden shoes for Christmas every year. (OMFG! This one just blows my mind.)
- European men liking their women hairy. Trust me, we do not. European women shave just like like Americans do. Don't let 70's German porn fool you.
