Until We Don't by Kate Burrows
5.0
Oliver and Sadie's banter made me chuckle constantly and I couldn’t put the book down. Kate Burrows' Until We Don't ARC is a clever rom com in which Sadie, an accountant, serves as a bridesmaid for her friend Mia during tax season. The primary male character is Oliver, the best man. The story covers tropes including forced proximity, best man vs. bridesmaid, opposites attract, destination wedding and EMT/Account. Oliver and Sadie's hilarious humor contributes to their development as the main romantic couple, whose chemistry jumps off the page and builds with time as aggravation turns into love. The amusing plot makes it a must-read for newbies to the rom-com subgenre as well as those who enjoy this genre. Kate Burrows is an incredible storyteller as an indie author whose novel will be out on January 7, 2025. I strongly recommend this book to any romance reader who enjoys spice and wants to experience different subgenres and troupes.
