Great read, and told in the voice of the author speaking to her mother, which also, given the content, puts it in this framework as old as Adam and Eve, where clearly a man's choices and actions are deeply detrimental to people around him, but the focus is really why didn't this women stop him/did she tempt him to make these bad choices/what role did she play? CW for suicide attempts and execution, misogyny, gaslighting, racism
