This book is a crazy, thrilling and at times terrifying, paranormal ride. The way Elena is in the beginning of the book was a strange and unexpected twist from where the last book left off. This book relies heavily on the supernatural, things are often left unexplained but it doesn't detract from the story, rather just fuels the mystery of what is going to happen next.
