I really enjoyed this book. The writing was very eloquent and I enjoyed the setting quite a lot. The only thing keeping this from a 5-star rating for me was the romance. It might be due to just getting older or the fact that I enjoyed the setting so much more, but I wanted more fantasy world and less slow burn romance. Would highly recommend for any romance readers maybe looking to dip their toes into fantasy!

Side note though...who gave Rebecca Ross permission to leave me with that CLIFFHANGER!?!? 😮
