Dnf at 20% - literally just Google how intense the road to Olympic figure skating is and how men get to the NHL. Spoiler alert- many Olympic figure skaters don’t spend their time while training for the Olympics in college. Also have you even heard of junior hockey?!!This author didn’t even TRY to look up how this world works!!! (Yes I was a figure skater when I was younger and live in a city with a premier D1 collegiate hockey team so I have cred!) if you are going to write contemporary fiction at least get the reality part right!!! Also missed opportunity to set this book in the Midwest or Canada.
