Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid

5.0

I'd recommend this book to everyone, especially in audiobook.

This is not a simple story about a band. It's a very believable story about 8-9 main protagonists who were all so uniquely different but they all had a dream. The band go from very humble beginnings to humble endings and it's beautiful. The lyrics of the songs make you wish the songs were real.

I got the audiobook as was suggested to me, which was frigging incredible. It so seemlessly switches between characters and the acting is amazing. There's a few times the actors have to stop, take an emotional breath before carrying on.

I think I still would have enjoyed this book but it wouldn't have been as memorable as this cast made it. Honestly, just go and get this book (in audiobook if possible) and thank me later.

I could rant on about the characters in this book for paragraphs and paragraphs but I don't want to spoil anything.

Not my favourite book but by far the best audiobook I've ever listened to. And I don't think anything will ever beat it tbh.

READ IT!
