Life's Edge: The Search for What It Means to Be Alive by Carl Zimmer

4.0

This was a good book that explains why scientists don't have definitive answers on what is or isn't life. It goes through a series of contemporary or recent studies that are probing some of the gray area of life/not life (e.g., viruses), in a way that's accessible and informative. Definitely recommend if you're interested in good science writing or if you like learning about biology.
