In some ways, I really liked this book & its concept. I think what I didn’t like is that it took place over such a long span of time and the characters changed (died off) without much note. Although, the new characters were related to those characters it left me with a feeling of being more disconnected from the story. I didn’t feel as invested as we were basically in 3 different time periods.
