The Distance Between Us by Kasie West
3.0
"Feelings can be the most costly thing in the world"
The Distance Between Us was filled with laughter, friendship, family, and romance. But of course, a bit of drama as well. That's Kasie West's style when it comes to her books. It's all fluff, then a bit of pain, but there's nothing really drastic about their situation to worry about. That's why her books are really easy to get in to, and undoubtedly really easy to finish. Her writing style is also simple but really engaging, so it's not difficult to get into her writing.
Another thing with Kasie is when she ends these books, there's some loose ends with the other characters, but I guess that's fine since they're not really the main focus (maybe that's the reason why her books are too short for me?). It's like she wants the readers to conclude about the circumstances by themselves, and that's pretty fine. But since these are stand-alone novels, I sometimes feel like I'm hanging.
Anyway, this book was really really cute. A bit cliche, but cute.
It's a rich guy-poor girl type, with a twist in the end. I can't really give much, without spoiling the plotline.
3.5 or 4 star rating! I couldn't decide which, but it's somewhere along those lines :)
