I really enjoyed the other books in this series, but I DNF this one. Maybe I wasn't in the mood for it, but I was almost 100 pages in and bored to death.
There was so much telling vs showing. The characters talked so, so much. At one point, Eunice (the MC), tells her friend "I'll give you the condensed version" and talks for like three pages. If that's the condensed version, I would hate to see the full.
Again, maybe I just wasn't in the mood for this particular book at the time, but I couldn't make myself push through.
