The Accomplice by Lisa Lutz

4.5

I picked out this book on a whim while scrolling through Libby and I loved it. It reminded me of “Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow.” Going into it I thought it was a thriller, but it really wasn’t. There was a mystery side to it and trying to figure out who killed who etc. At its core though, it was a book about platonic soulmates. It detailed two people who are a step more than friends, except not in a romantic way. It highlighted how there are lows and highs to friendships, but that in the end you come back to each other. It may just be the ace in me, but I like these kinds of books way more than romance.
