This book was fantastic! I’m so sad that I didn’t read it sooner. It was so fast paced and I loved the short chapters. They were 1-4 pages typically for each chapter. The story is about Avery, who inherits Tobias Hawthornes fortune. She has no idea why she inherited it since she has no idea who he is. The Hawthorne family is upset that they didn’t inherit the fortune themselves. Tobias’ grandsons and Avery now want to figure out the game he was playing and what Avery has to do with the equation and why she inherited their fortune. This book keeps you on your toes, thinking scenarios in your head the whole book. If any of this intrigues you, then you should check it out!
