I recommend this book if you like:

·         YA contemporary
·         Light romance
·         Transition between high school and college

Lara Jean is a likeable, relatable character. Lara Jean is going through a lot of change in her life during this book; her dad is getting remarried and she has to make a decision about where to go for college.

I enjoyed reading about Lara Jean and Peter’s relationship and them trying to navigate how their relationship would work after high school.

I’m glad Lara Jean went and had some fun with her best friend Chrissy down at college. It gave us a glimpse into what could be in store for Lara Jean.

I thought Peter’s note in Lara Jean’s yearbook was perfect. I wish I had thought of that! I was so pleased to read it as it filled me with hope and optimism about their future.

I was saddened to read that the author wouldn’t be continuing to write Lara Jean’s story as I so would enjoy reading about her college experience.

Now to watch all the movies!
