This was a fun read. It’s very engaging and suspenseful; I got through it in about two sittings I was dying to find out what was happening. This is so beautifully written but not wordy or so poetic that you’ll dislike it if that’s not really your thing.
The book takes place in the eyes of a woman who is conscious while in a coma which is such a unique prose. I mostly have good things to say about this novel but the only reason I’ve docked a star is because there are definitely plot holes and the ending leaves you with so many question marks. If I didn’t know Alice Feeney is going to follow this up with a sequel I probably would’ve rated it closer to a 3.5, so if you’re someone who NEEDS a real conclusion you should wait for the second book to be released.
