A group of young people, in 1980’s Miami, plan to a grand heist from the local drug king pin. It goes badly.
The good, I loved the artwork and the Miami-deco colors. Not as stylized as Miami Vice, but I can see some inspirations. Not too much though.
However, the story, from the character development to the plot, was thin. You get a snippet into to each character and then the action starts. I didn’t feel much for most of the protagonists. With the exception of one, I wasn’t given much to hold on to.
The “action” pretty much stopped as it began. There was no build. It began then ended. That’s it.
I really had high hopes for this. But it didn’t deliver.
