In this story, we follow Freya. A fishmongers wife who hates the life she has been forced to live for the sake of her family. She is, essentially, always chosen last. She is then one day forced to face difficult circumstances that reveals that she is the child of a god when she uses her gift to shield herself in a battle to the death with another child with god blood. HOWEVER, neither of them die, and they both kinda just... coexist while war wages on as she was the one foretold to unite many people across their territory Skaland.

I loved the characters.. Bjorn (f*cker) and Freya (brat) are both so sweet and lovely. I hold them dear to my heart
