I really enjoyed this book. It was way better than the first one and I’m happy that I still picked it up after reading the first one…
Maybe it is because Claire is an older woman with life experience but their story was more mature and less frustrating than Emily and Jameson.
*the next part might contain spoilers*
Claire was a bit frustrating with Wade’s wishes/plans. But I can also understand that grief is hard to get through and as you can not discuss these things with the person it is hard to get perspective and chose the best option for ourselves instead of keeping things as they were because it was the choice/plan before.
I also really liked Tristan’s relationship with her children and how it evolved throughout the book.
The mom though? I liked her in the first book but her she was a bit bitchy and two-faced… Like super nice to Claire but then going to Tristan and telling him she isn’t the one?
