I couldn't finish this one fast enough.  Most of this story is bleak, filled with heartache, pain, domestic violence, grief, abuse, illness, death of animals and the death of humans. . sadly this list could go on.  The description of Alaska and the pure Alaskan coastal areas was the best.  This is heartbreaking.
