Very disturbing, graphic, and dark. Unsure of how I should rate this. But I have a greater understanding of the thought process within this type of abuse. How it shapes what you view as ‘normal’. It’s awful how it was generational and swept under the rug. Shows how crimes like these are kept in place when there’s nothing to disrupt it. It feels especially sad when she tells someone she trusts and it just gets dismissed or shamed.
