Absolutely beautiful writing, world building and character names. Honestly, these are some of my favorite mmc/fmc names that I've come across so far. The unique spin on fallen gods and world creation had me captivated. I adore the tension between Noctis and Rada, and the duel pov. Usually duel povs are not my thing, but in Darkness Births the Stars, it's done flawlessly, and having both Noctis and Rada's inner emotions, perspectives and back story are a large part of what makes this book so great. The timeline jumps around a bit, but not in a confusing or intrusive way, and the insight is intrinsic. I'm actually going to re-read this for a second go, which is rare for me. It's such a beautiful love story about relearning each other, and oh my goodness I can not wait for book 2 after that ending!

I was an arc reader for this book and am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have discovered this author and this fantastic book!
