teaisfortigger 's review for:
The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao
by Junot Díaz
It took me a bit to warm up to this book and get over my initial (and biased) perception of Diaz as an author. His writing begins with ego, ego, ego, ego, and ends with the kind of silence that holds so much truth to it that it hurts that it exists in reality. I know that I am grateful for this book.
