Incredible bit of literature all the way through- literally no critiques, it's just perfection.
I'm not lying when I say I cried the entire time... Xie Lian, you absolute masterpiece of a character. The tragedy of his life is just... unimaginablely heartwrenching! Every time you think 'surely it can't get worse', it does!! And yet at the end of the day, he still works so hard to do the right thing.
His indomitable spirit was, in fact, dominated for a while... but it makes his current character so much more intriguing. God I love him
