Okay so I typically don’t go for bully romances because usually I just end up getting annoyed at the heroine for putting up with all his crap. But I will say I enjoyed this. I was glad that the bullying was never taken too far. That the heroine did know what she deserved even if she couldn’t stay away from him.

I read a million kisses in your lifetime and decided to come back and read Whit and Summers story because I was very interested from the little bits you hear of them in that book and I was not disappointed.

I enjoyed both Whit and Summer together and much as I did as their own character. They’ve both grown up dealing with parents who have given them reasons to be the way they are. Low on affection, high on drama and trauma. This book was long but it never truly felt long. I loved to watch their growth as people and how much they had changed towards the end of the book from the beginning. The plot was interesting. The character growth was great to see. I loved the ending and the separation they have before they get back together. I really enjoyed that the other didn’t immediately fix everything with no groveling.

I do wish we got a Summer and Sylvia reunion so I’m hoping she does get her own book.
