What a gorgeous little book! Neil Gaiman has a way with words that is so profoundly beautiful, I love how he gets the message across without sounding condescending or demanding. He talks about his own experience in a way that gives young writers and artists hope, but also offering useful advice. I've always loved how amazing Chris Riddell's art compliments Neil's writing, and this book is no exception. All the little details and cameos of Neil's other works are lovely, and the art really brings the words to life. I adore everything this book is trying to tell the world, the way it lifts my creative spirit and makes me want to just go out there and make some good art!! Give this book a read if you have a chance, because Art Matters. It really does.
