Maturing is realizing that this series was a genius creation. I half heartedly read it when it came out because I loved Percy, and obviously ended up having it because of the lack of Percy. Upon this second read, many years later, I really loved it. It feels on par with an Epic, even more so than the Percy Jackson series. Utilizing multiple narrators instead of one singular narrator gives the reader a much clearer picture of the story, which I enjoyed as well.
