I adore both Keris and Zarrah. Star-crossed lovers, Political powerhouses. Their spicy encounters were 🥵.
I had a hard time rating this one because although I enjoyed myself so much and fell hard for the characters and their story, some scenes did get a bit repetitive and tiresome to read through the exact events of the previous book. I loved getting new perspectives of what was happening during some of my favorite moments from book2, but I think it was a bit too drawn out. Some of it could have been cut down without negatively impacting the overarching story.
