Hood Feminism: Notes from the Women White Feminists Forgot by Mikki Kendall

challenging reflective slow-paced

a goal for my 2021 reading is to read more non-fiction, and I do not think I will be rating any of them.

Now, this book was exceptional. It put names and explanations to so many important topics; helping realign what feminism means to me. Kendall had a succinct and astute writing style, and important topics and her life experiences were interwoven so grippingly.

I do believe that this is a book everybody should read. I highly, highly recommend.
