Wow wow wow, Amy and Brock in book 1 pulled my focus from gwen and cade so much. I knew woth hate there was a huge fire and dang this book was so so good. Amy is one hell of a spitfire, and Brock is the only man who can hold her without burning up. This is past and present, so you can really see what their interaction were when you were in small moments in the first book. This is, in a sense, a love triangle as well. I won't go further than that because that ruins a lot of book 1 if you haven't read it. But her dad business gets her kidnapped without anyone knowing . Even kidnapped, this woman stayed strong. Her uncle asked for the sons help, and they all realized it was Amy who was gone and it was on. Brock doesn't say much hut Jesus when it does it lands. I will say I saw this in book 1 and book 2 really brought it home both her and gwen really talk aboit staying skinny, calorie counting and fitting into.their clothes. Brock calls her out on that, and the first book rubbed me a wrong way, but now I'm seeing it was diet culture and her family wanting her to be perfect, so it helped that for me . I loved loved this couple.
