Final thoughts:
I blew right through this book while I’m sick🤒 so this is great book to keep you entertained while you’re stuck in bed. The characters were lovable and they kept me wanting more and more to happen. The pining was slow- so this was indeed a slow burn. I loved when everything came together at the end, and Iykyk 🥹THE LETTERS🥹 they were truly meant to be and the sister was and will always be a total douche bag. The mom was a sweetheart and she felt like she was also MY mom, I can’t even explain that one.

Macon is definitely a book boyfriend- one for the books ✅

🤍Enemies to lovers
🤍Childhood bully
🤍Hollywood star x Professional chef
🤍Slow burn

🌶🌶.75/5 spice was open door but this book wasn’t simply **smut**

🚩His name is Macon and in the book they said something along the lines of ‘it’s Macon like bacon’ and that traumatized me.
🚩Most of the book was less plot driven and was a little anticlimactic. (The pining made it worth it)
🚩I felt like I didn’t get to see Macon’s back story the way I wanted to. I needed more- why are you traumatized sir?🫠
🚩I also wanted a bit more action in Hollywood, with the bodyguard North, even with the sister?

No matter what, I still recommend picking this one up. Fall in love with Delilah and Macon like I did, despite everything else 💓
