The New Adventures of Hitler by Steve Yeowell, Grant Morrison

2.0

This story doesn't really attempt to be historical commentary on Hitler. At all. It's surreal and darkly funny and yet still doesn't make any sense without the inclusion of 'Hitler' as a symbol. But symbol for what? It feels like Morrison's written this bizarre origins story just for the sake of having written a bizarre origins story about Hitler.

Well ... congrats on doing that?

(Having said that, the bit where John Lennon is in his closet, singing "Working Class Hero," will probably stick with me for a while).
