I think this book is important to read and teach because we all definitely need a true history lesson that isn’t whitewashed from the very beginning. I also think it’s extremely crucial to teach how religion played a pivotal role in slavery and colonization.

However, the author kept trying to throw humor into some parts, but he’s not really that funny
