One of my goals this year has been to read more manga and graphic novels. When I saw the Tea Dragon series was available to read on KU, I jumped at the opportunity to read and visualize this pure and wholesome story and art!

I absolutely loved each of these books. They were all very short, interconnected stories that left me feeling at peace and smiling as I finished. What a wonderful found family full of diversity and inclusivity. I immediately recommended this to a few people after finishing, because I need more people to read it! It was so tender and sweet, and the storyline had me hooked! I loved getting to learn more about the character and the history of the tea dragons.

Greta, Minette, Rinn, Aedhan, Erik, Hesekiel, and all of the tea dragons hold a special place in my heart. Iโ€™m tearing up right now just thinking about them. ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป Overall, this is a story about the power of friendship and loving people and giving them space to be themselves.

Some quotes that will stick with me:
๐Ÿ‰ โ€œJust because something comes easily to you, does not mean it has no value.โ€
๐Ÿ‰ โ€œYou feel like youโ€™ve lost your path. Itโ€™s natural to be sad. Itโ€™s alright to let those feelings wash over you, and give them time to soak into the earth. Thatโ€™s when things start to grow again.โ€
๐Ÿ‰ โ€œWhen someone is grieving, the best thing you can do is to let them heal on their own, and show them that youโ€™ll be there for them.โ€

Highly recommend these sweet and wonderful graphic novels!
