Finding Me: A Memoir by Viola Davis

This was a great audiobook (narrated by Viola) about her life from poverty and abuse into being an award winning actress. She describes what it’s like to be a black woman in Hollywood and I loved hearing how she found herself in her roles. It was also really interesting to hear about her theatre/acting education and how she moved into that chapter of her life. Great memoir about overcoming obstacles, finding yourself and moving towards your goals.
