It is impossible for me to express how I feel about this book without spoiling so be warned! Lol
The plot just keeps getting better and better wow!
What an emotional roller coaster this book was omg! At the end of Book 2 I shed some tears but man Book 3 had some incredibly sad moments and so many moments that were so emotionally charged. At the end of Book 2 I was in complete shock and denial about Cedric’s blindness. And I remained that way while reading this book until I passed the halfway point and started realising omg this is really happening. He’s blind. This is it. And I felt so sad for Cedric. From early on in the series he’s described as being a great shot, being really good with horses, at hunting, and loves nature and animals especially dogs. You get the impression that he’s the adventurous one of the group. So I had expected his book to be full of pistols, pursuits on horseback, and rescuing damsels lol. And felt so sad he was robbed of all that which made him who he is. The ending had me crying happy tears.
The character development is just incredible. It was heart wrenching and amazing watching Cedric trying to figure out who he was now without all the things he loved. I love Cedric now.
Johnathan and Charles were growing on me too in the previous books and I really like them now.
And I can’t believe I’m saying this but I really like Godric and Lucien now. Especially now that they’re more inclusive of their wives instead of sending them upstairs.
Ash’s storyline was fucking hilarious and just awesome. I cannot wait to see how things develop in the next book!
