This is a nice story, with a happy ending (of course, as it’s a fairy tale!) I’m only giving it 3 stars though as there were some glaring inconsistencies (new editor needed!) and the story itself is more suitable for the younger end of the YA age bracket but the writing style and themes are more suitable for older teenagers. My 14yo daughter found the story ‘a bit young’ but there was ‘too much adult love stuff’. I didn’t much like Oliver as a character but Delilah is fun and I like the way she and the other characters are portrayed. And the idea behind the story is great! I love how the villain collects butterflies when the book is closed, and the Queen is a keen cook
