Rhys Larsen is for sure my new book boyfriend. He was so loveable even when he was grumpy, and his chemistry with Bridget was so cute and also really hot….
I love how Bridget grew into her royal position throughout the book and overcame her fears all while staying true to herself. She’s a true inspiration and such a perfect female main character.
At first I was hesitant about reading this despite all the amazing reviews, only because I thought it would be hard to switch from reading about Ava and Alex (daddy) to Bridget and Rhys (daddier). But I was proven so so wrong and I’m really glad because this was absolutely a 5 star read.
Usually I base my ratings on how gripped I was by the book, making this hard to rate because I felt around three quarters of the way through it slowed down a bit for me but quickly regained pace. That’s probably just my reading speed and chaotic exams though. But the plot was perfect and gripping and I was always on my toes, when you think you’ve had all the plot twists you’re wrong! Every single time! I could’ve never guessed who leaked the footage…..but the yearning in this book was perfect - not too much not too little - and the drama and storyline all worked together well o make the book literally perfect.
I love you Ana Huang!!! Keep making characters like Rhys and Bridget and you can just take the money right out my account xx
